Common mistakes in prayer

Beginners improve much faster when common mistakes are explained gently and clearly.

Further prayer learning

Some common early mistakes are incomplete wudu, rushing through ruku or sujud, skipping stillness between positions, and not knowing what to say in a position yet.
This page is not here to make you anxious. It is here to help you notice the usual weak spots so your prayer becomes steadier and calmer over time.
The goal is not perfection overnight. The goal is to keep improving while taking the prayer seriously.

Islamic Context

Stillness matters

Prayer should not feel like one rushed motion. Calmness in the positions helps the prayer feel real and settled.

Unknown phrases are normal at first

Not knowing every phrase yet is part of the beginner stage. Keep learning the phrases in their places instead of freezing because they are not all mastered yet.
