التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ وَالصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَىٰ عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ

At-tahiyyatulillahiwas-salawatuwat-tayyibat,as-salamu'alaykaayyuhan-nabiyyuwarahmatullahiwabarakatuh,as-salamu'alaynawa'ala'ibadillahis-salihin,ashhaduanlailahaillallahwaashhaduannaMuhammadan'abduhuwarasuluh

All greetings, prayers, and pure words belong to Allah... I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.

Tashahhud belongs to the seated testimony near the end of the prayer and should be learned carefully.
A beginner should first understand where tashahhud belongs in the prayer and what it is doing: greetings, worship, and testimony gathered in one seated recitation.
After tashahhud, many Muslims then learn durood shareef as a next-stage refinement.
